With the Latin translating as ‘Light from Darkness’ the piece is a message of healing and light even in the darkest of times. On its festival journey so far, the video for Lux Ex Tenebris, directed by Timon Birkhofer, has won the music video category at the Golden Short Film Festival and received an invitation to screen at Oscar qualifier, Cinequest.
