Mike spots the girl of his dreams, Rachel, at the bar in his local, and is determined, this time, to introduce himself. But when his best friend, Dave, convinces him that he needs a game-plan first, Mike’s mind swims with fantasies and scenarios as he attempts to design the ‘perfect’ introduction, helped – or perhaps hindered – by Dave’s advice and critiques. Advice is a short and sweet romantic comedy, about having the courage to be yourself, and taking that first step to love.
Full of homage to, and in some cases, shot-for-shot recreation of, romantic classics including Casablanca, When Harry Met Sally, and Groundhog Day, Advice won Honorable Mention at the Los Angeles Reel Film Festival.
Tragically Joshua Tobias Mills, Dave in Advice, passed away at only 28 years old from SADS. We support and encourage donations to a funding campaign set up by his family in his memory for the British Heart Foundation’s research into SADS.
